To church, or not to church?

Churches, synagogues and other faith communities offer another opportunity for connecting socially and spiritually, especially for college students who live away from home. And often those occasions are not simply confined to a specified day of worship. There are chances for students to not only nourish their spirtual side but also to give  back by participating in volunteer activities within the congregation and in the surrounding neighborhoods. Students who connect themselves with a faith community often find there’s another unexpected benefit: They find a home away from home. Maybe one more good reason for going to church.
